Cottage Place is your perfect destination for either a quick getaway or a vacation filled with memories. Cottage Place is situated on the shores of the pristine Squam Lakes in Holderness, the heart of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region and the foothills of the spectacular White Mountains. Stay with us, enjoy our property, a cozy night in front of a fire and easy access to year round activities that appeal to couples, families, outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers: swimming, hiking, fishing, kayaking, snowmobiling, skiing, snowshoeing, biking (road and motor), golfing, hunting, bird watching, shopping and dining.
Our property is landscaped with vintage stone walls, seasonal gardens and a private 140 foot sandy beach on Little Squam Lake directly across the street from our accommodations. Our pet friendly vacation rentals include seven individual Cottages of various sizes, eight Cottage Suites (two room family apartments) located in our main building and a six bedroom Lodge. Decorated with care to reflect New Hampshire’s simplicity and heritage, all of our rentals have a kitchen with full size appliances, full bathroom, cable TV and wireless internet. Our large dock has space available for rent by guests. From here, there is direct access to Big Squam, one of the most beautiful and untouched lakes in the country.
Our guests have been returning to our property for over fifty years to play all day, watch unforgettable fiery sunsets, listen to the loons calling as the moon rises over Evans Cove and relax by the warmth of a campfire under the star filled sky.
