SQUAM FEST: An Enchanted Market
October 17th-18th, 2026
Hosted by Cottage Place on Squam Lake, Squam Fest is a reimagined celebration of community held twice a year in May and October. Formerly known as the Vintage Market, it has grown into a vibrant festival weekend featuring local artisans and small businesses showcasing and selling their wares, from baked goods and jewelry to vintage finds and handcrafted goods.
Guests are invited to sip and shop while exploring a curated mix of food trucks, craft cocktails, live music, and family-friendly activities. Squam Fest brings together makers, vendors, and local organizations in a beautiful lakeside setting, creating a welcoming space to connect, support local talent, and enjoy all that Cottage Place on Squam Lake has to offer.

The NH Highland Games & Festival is one of the largest and most diverse Highland Games held in North America. This celebration of Scottish Heritage will be held from September 18th-20th, 2026 at Loon Mountain Resort in the White Mountains of New Hampshire at the beginning of fall foliage season in New England.

Laconia Motorcycle Week

Laconia Motorcycle Week, often mentioned alongside Daytona and Sturgis, is one of the biggest motorcycle rallies in the country, drawing over a million riders each year. As the Oldest National Motorcycle Rally, its roots go back to 1916 when the first Gypsy Tour gathered at Weirs Beach on Lake Winnipesaukee.
